Video Course on Finite Element Analysis

MIT has released video lectures (presented by Prof. K.J. Bathe) on linear and nonlinear finite element analysis of solids and structures (the first lecture in the series is shown above). These 34 videos cover a wide range of topics on finite element analysis from introductory to quite advanced. In addition to the videos, a study guide is also provided and for each lecture the relevant sections of the Finite Element Procedures book and also other related publications are referenced.

Finite Element Procedures for Solids and Structures

These video lectures along with the book and the two courses on finite element methods from MIT

2.092 / 2.093 Finite Element Analysis of Solids and Fluids I

2.094 Finite Element Analysis of Solids and Fluids II

provide a comprehensive set of study material for anyone who would like to gain an in-depth knowledge of finite element analysis.

We hope that many of you will enjoy the lectures ... and that you will let colleagues know!
